We’re taking a bit of a turn this week and will be learning more about polyamory. To help us guide this conversation, we speak with film director, producer and actor, Stephanie Sellars. Stephanie produced Lust Life Love, a slight autobiographical film about her experience navigating polyamory in New York City. Although Sellars isn’t a current sex worker herself, it was interesting in indicating the overlap that polyamory has with sex work. Polyamory, “multiple loves” originating in Greek mythology, occur in instances where there are multiple relationships, sometimes found in triads or throuples to which can grow to many partners. To help us illustrate this, I was able to watch Lust Life Love and was quick to identify many similarities with sex work early on in the film.
