I am so happy to finally release this episode with Vanessa Eve of Streamate. Vanessa is the Director of Community Relations and is transitioning out of her previous role in adult talent recruitment. Coming from a stripping background, we speak about her experience in how she started working on the corporate side of adult, finding balance and not “selling out”, protecting and maintaining the partnerships she’s made with talent over the years and her initiatives, Elevate and Tea Time. Vanessa has been an instrumental figure in the adult industry which I believe is paving the way for the adult side of corporate to give back to the people that build up their platforms. Not only do we get a glimpse of the struggles and stigma Vanessa has had from her humble roots doing advertising and marketing for Streamate, we also listen in to her perspective of being an Asian-American working for an adult company, as a parent, and as an individual who hopes to make change in the adult industry.
