I am so proud of this episode with dominatrix, Mistress Marley. It’s really inspiring to hear all that Mistress Marley is doing for the community. As a young sex worker, Mistress Marley dabbled in other forms of sex work and stumbled into domming when answering an ad on Craigslist. It gave her the freedom and flexibility to live her life the way she wanted to. But there was one problem: the domming world was very White.
The lack of peers that looked like her and spaces that were safe to her inspired her to create The Domme Academy, her own group and program for Black and Brown dominatrices, Black and Kinky – events for Black kinky folks and her own Brooklyn-based dungeon, Pynk Matrix.
