I’ve got to say, I was a little nervous yet super excited to record this week’s episode. I had a riveting conversation with Brussels-based, Espace P, a non-profit organization which helps and protects sex workers in Belgium. I got the opportunity to speak with their public relations representative, Quentin Deltour, to learn more about the organization, the history and who Espace P helps, and how much of a resource they are for sex workers based in Belgium.
Although it is a small country, Belgium became the first European country to decriminalize sex work back in March of this year. We speak about the struggles that sex workers have experienced in Belgium, what this decision may mean and what will happen moving forward for sex workers and clients. English is not Quentin’s first language so please practice patience with him as he navigates throughout our conversation.
