Now, I have been planning to bring this week’s guest onto the show since Season 1 but COVID-19 hit and I wasn’t sure how much longer I was going to do the show (and now look – 100+ episodes later!). With the pandemic shutting strip clubs down, I wasn’t sure if I would even be able to bring this guest on he primarily would photographer strippers on stage so it was finally time to play catch up with Mike from The Liquid Cherry Strip, a famed photographer here in the Pacific Northwest of Canada.
Mike is best known for his phenomenal photography skills, notably capturing moments and subjects in places where photography is typically prohibited: the strip club. Normally, guys (and sometimes girls) will be asked to leave if they whip out their phone or a camera in the club. It’s not allowed. It’s something that isn’t permissible because, well, there are naked women on stage! Simply put, the guy with the camera is typically labeled as a creep, a perv and someone who is not welcome in a strip club setting. So how did Mike get his start with getting the opportunity to photograph strippers on stage? Well, you’ll just have to listen to the full episode and find out his fascinating story.
