WE ARE BACK! And by “we”, I mean me! Season 2 is here and I am so excited to finally launch after weeks of bonus episodes and miniseries. Season 2 will features a plethora of guests, not to mention it will be borderless (hello international sex worker friends!), and will continue to educate sex workers and civilians on the topic of destigmatizing sex work.
To kick off Season 2 of the pod, I invite Dominatrix Amber Lush onto the podcast who joins us waaaaaaay across the pond in Singapore! Amber is a former teacher turned full-time pro domme and a veteran in the BDSM and kink community in Singapore. We speak about how rooted Singapore is in Asian values and traditional narratives and how that affects sex work and even her work as a domme.
We compare and contrast Asian cultures vs. North American culture in terms of how sex work is viewed, how Singapore’s governing laws are unclear and how she has been adapting since COVID-19 hit. We also dive into the topic of other types of sex work (ie. host bars) and brothels are prevalent in the country and much, much more.
